In the model, the first digit is the number of cells connected in series with the battery, and “6” represents 6 cells connected in series, indicating that the rated voltage of the battery is 12 V; “”3” represents the series connection of 3 cells, indicating that the rated voltage of the battery is 6V; the second part is the main use mark of the battery, and the first letter “Q” of “starting” in Chinese Pinyin represents the starting battery; The third part shows the characteristics of the battery, the maintenance-free battery is represented by “W”; the dry-type charged battery is represented by “A”; the valve-regulated batteries are represented by “F”; “L” is used for low temperature batteries, “H” for high temperature batteries, and “Z” for vibration-resistant batteries. You can also use two or three letters at the same time to indicate the corresponding function. For example: The model name of the maintenance-free low-temperature vibration-resistant starter battery with a rated capacity of 100 Ah with 6 cells connected in series is 6-QWLZ-100.

The meanings of the numbers and letters used in the model are as follows: The preceding numbers represent the performance level. The performance level is obtained by the following formula, performance level=(CCA √óRC ) 1/2/2.8; the letter after the numerical value: according to the width and slot height of the battery, use B-H to distinguish; the numerical value after the letter, the length and dimension of the battery, the approximate number expressed in centimeters; the letter at the end: the distinction of the terminal polarity position. For example, 28B17L means that 28 is the performance level, B is the distinction according to the width and height of the battery, the specific size is that the height of the battery is 203 mm, and the width of the groove is 127~129 mm; 17 represents the length of the battery. is 17 cm. L represents the terminal polarity position, one side of the large-face terminal of the battery faces the human body, the left side is the negative pole, and the right side is the positive pole, as shown in Figure 3. The opposite position is called R, i.e. positive on the left and negative on the right.

Terminals are distinguished by T1 and T2. The distinguishing form of the terminal is , when using the T2 type terminal, (S) is used at the end of the model number to indicate the distinction, such as 28B17L (S). The terminal structure is consistent with the Chinese standard structure.

(3) Model name of German series starter battery

The first digit represents the voltage of the battery, 5 and 6 represent the rated voltage of the battery is 12 V; the first 3 digits represent the rated capacity of the battery. The calculation method is, the difference between the first three digits minus 500 is the rated capacity of 20 h rate, for example, the 20 h rate capacity of 55415 battery is 54 A h, and the 20 h rate rated capacity of 68025 battery is 180 A h. The last two digits represent the characteristic difference, which is used to distinguish similar batteries. For example, 55415 and 55414 have some differences in battery exhaust, and some differences in maintenance-free performance.

The first two digits represent the group number of the battery, and the group number corresponds to the size of the battery, so after knowing the group number, you can know the size of the battery; the model is called the group number; the last three digits represent the SAE starting current value of the battery.
